- Who does bulk trash pickup up and how do I sign up?

On a monthly basis, the City of Scottsdale has bulk trash pick-up for its residents. Pick-up in Desert Mountain is always the last Monday of the month. You MUST sign up in advance for this service. This pick-up is explained in detail on the City of Scottsdale website and is for homeowners only and not for vendors. Should you be in need of this service, you can fill out the pickup form HERE. - Which can is for trash and which can is for recycle?

The black can is for trash and is collected on Friday's. The pink can is for recycle and is collected on Wednesday's. View a list of recyclable items. Cans must be put out very early on day of pickup or the evening before and removed from the street at the end of the day. All other times, cans must be stored in the garage or behind a trash enclosure gate and must not be visible from the street or the neighboring properties.
- What do I do if I do not have a mailbox key from the previous owner or I have lost my key?

Please call the homeowners' association at 480-635-5600 so we may identify which box number belongs to you. The HOA can have your mailbox re-keyed for you for a $40 charge, or you can contact an outside Locksmith, and if needed, schedule a meeting with the postal carrier through the Main Post Office on Williams Drive by calling 480-513-2935.
- How do I get to the Trails?

Head north on Desert Mountain Parkway into the Village of Saguaro Forest. Take the first left on Chiricahua Pass. Follow that road until the end! You will pass the entrance to Cintarosa on your left and Cintarosa Ranch on your right. Or See the Trails Location on a Map
- What do I need to do if I want to change the exterior color of my home?

Please remember that all changes/modifications to the exterior of your home must be submitted to Architectural Review at the Homeowners Association (HOA) office. To view the list of approved colors for your Village, please view the Village Exterior Colors. You can view the colors at the Dunn Edwards Website. Contact Don Berg at 480-635-5605 with questions or email him to receive an application.
- How do I update my Guest list?

Please call the HOA Office at 480-635-5600 or main gate at 480-635-5630. If you would like to enroll in GateAccess.net you may complete this form to register so you can have full control of your guest list. GateAccess is now available for owners to manage their guest list online or via smartphone. For a tutorial on the process, click here.
- What do I do if I have a rental car and need access to the Community?

Please call the HOA at 480-635-5600. We have a limited number of portable transponder bars that are available on loan on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- I have Visitors coming, where do they park?

Due to safety concerns, no overnight parking is permitted on any street in the Community. We suggest your guest(s) park in your driveway and notify Security that you have guests. If you need further assistance, please contact Security at 480-635-5630. If you are hosting a party, notify Security prior to the event, and all vehicles must be parked on one side of the street, facing the correct direction of traffic so vehicles may pass in a safe manner. Parking in a cul-de-sac at any time is strongly discouraged as these are for emergency vehicle turnaround. All cul-de-sacs with center islands are clearly marked as no parking per the City of Scottsdale.
- When are my assessments due?

The assessment is due semi-annually on January 1st and July 1st. The assessment is late on the 30th of the month and is subject to a late fee. For a list of payment options, click here. To sign up for direct debit, contact our office at 480-635-5600.

The Haciendas pool is heated in the winter months to an approximate temperature of 86 degrees. Only one of the Apache Cottages pools is heated in the winter to approximately 86 degrees, and it rotates each year between Apache Cottages I and Apache Cottages II.
- What do I do with my packing boxes?

The City of Scottsdale offers a one-time box pick up for people who have moved. Please contact the City at 480-312-5600 to schedule a pick-up.
- I would like to remove some of the plants on my property, who do I need to speak with and could someone come out and walk my property with me to point out what I am allowed to do?
